“Your work is done!”
Your writing lately is almost beginning to feel like a puzzle.
There’s never been a time when it was never thoughtful, provoking and intentional. However, of late, it appear as though you’ve shifted gear, not just in the technique, but in its depth and intensity.
But there’s something else that evades my finger—some kind of treasure underneath, left only for those patient and intentional enough to fish it out.
I sensed it in the conversation you had with your students. You made them know there’s a great lesson here, a treasure, I may guide you, but I need you to work for it—figure it out.
Layers. Layers. Layers.
Lastly, why I love Dave Chappell, is his unique ability to take you on a journey that ends with a twist you know is coming but couldn’t imagine, hence, though the anticipation, it still hits you big.
It’s what you’ve done here with the heart anecdote, tying it up with the process of writing. While also ticking many other social and literary boxes along the way. Woah!
Goodness me! Who’s good, is good.
Fantastical job!
