When we look at life, there is a struggle between the construct of our mind and the true reality.

The same thing happens when we look at our problems, whether in the past or in the future.

We usually have a mind that will often magnify our problems, more than they realistically are.

It usually starts with our mind. I'm even tempted to believe life takes place in the mind.

Marcus Aurelius and other stoics understand this truth, which is why the core message of stoicism is centred around finding that inner peace.
