We need to be reminded of be grateful.
It is something I am practicing more of now. Should I say, that I am being more conscious of now.
I think this comes from a place of being in that exhaustive state of always desiring. Always in constant chase of that which you feel you do not have. It is exhausting. It steals the joy off the now.
And when we cannot mine joy from the now, it means we ain't present.
It gets to a point where we ask ourselves, what have we been doing all our lives?
I think it is the exhaustion that comes from ignoring the now mixed with the desire to want to live, that has helped me shift my focus on the things that I have. The things that are currently working for me. And that creates a lot of gratitude in my heart. It makes me more present, appreciative and happy.
This is a really beautifully written piece Diana. Thought I added my own 2 cents. Okay, I agree. It is more than just 2 cent. Lolz
