This is an interesting story.
And I see the comments, women are in support of her and how she got the stuff from him.

Speaking from a man’s perspective, I understand how he totally and abruptly cut ties with her without a word.

Honestly, the thing about men is, as we grow older, we realise two things; (and this isn’t meant as an insult or to label all women as the same). One, we learn most women know what they’re doing. And two, we learn to give up very quickly and abruptly when we feel we’re not being taken seriously.

These things come with age for men.

I’ve found myself doing the same lately. I walked out of a two year relationship that I imvested everything I had. I walked out, without a fight, without a word. And removed her from every social platform and every Netflix account. In spite of everything I did and gave to her.

The truth is, there’s something about men that women will never understand.

From your story, the guy was serious. He knew what he wanted. And he went out of his way to show it to your friend.

But it was obvious that your friend didn’t appreciate any of it, nor respected him. And he sensed it. Probably why he kept her away from meeting his kids.

I don’t see anything wrong in the man’s action. And how he ended it, was brilliant.
