I’m often a very lazy chap.

Sometimes you can't help these things. It’s just who you are.

I remember saying to someone; “aren’t you too old to use that as an excuse? If at this age, you still have a bad habit, then it’s there by choice. If you have a bad tendency, work on it.”

I know! I am anti-myself sometimes. That is, I chastise myself a lot. And I ought to have worked on my lazy tendencies. And I have. I really have. It just cleaves too tightly. I don’t know. Maybe I like me like that? Maybe.

But truly, I have tried so hard, that I gave up. So when making plans, I plan my laziness along. When I draw a schedule, I factor in my random loss of inspiration or energy that sneaks up on me. And it always wins.

How have I managed lately to write and publish consistently you may ask?

I found fascinating people to keep me on my toes. They inspire me. And even though they don't know it, they push my consistency. They keep me writing. They encourage me by how they show up every single day. And though many frowns on the display of success, I like it when do they. It gives me hope and…
