Where you said, unlike nature where we can't make demands, we demand more from our spouse, children, bosses, etc. Whether that's a good thing or not, I don't know. But like you said, it's all relative.

But it got me thinking, what if through our demanding from those around us, are we being fair? Is it even in our place to demand more from others?

And are we demanding more from a place of a good and selfless intention or a place of selfishness?

I don't know if that's the message here, but you wrote this piece so well, it got me thinking about so many things. That's how brilliant this piece is.
