The truth about pain is, only you know how it feels.

Regardless of how much information or stats you read, experience trumps it all. Until you walk a mile in someone else’s shoe, you don't know shit.

A video of Ben Shapiro silencing some Black Lives Matter advocates in a conversation on race and the black community went viral some time ago.

Ben Shapiro was of the opinion that the decadence of the black community has nothing to do with race but culture. [Watch video!]

Personally, I find that offensive.

His statement implies that single mothers raising kids without a father is black culture. Fathers not responsible enough to be in the life of their kids is black culture. Young men and women, institutionalized before they turned twenty, is black culture. Parents not being involved in kids' education, is black culture.

I will be the first to tell my brothers and sisters to get their act together. We gat to take our share of the responsibility. Play our role and do better.

So I understand Ben’s argument.

There’s truth to his point. The stats show that the black community takes the lead in these poor areas…
