The 3 Realities Of a Christian
Truths a believer must accept if he wishes to walk with God
True Christianity is a far cry from what we see today.
Christianity today appears to possess several paths, ideologies, and doctrines, but the Word of the Lord remains unchanging and steadfast. There are not multiple pathways to the Father — only through Jesus Christ. Similarly, there are not many ways to please Him — only through obedience to His Word.
As Christians, our ultimate goal is to please the Lord. We achieve this by living out the truth of His Word in our daily lives.
This is why I write: to help draw you closer to the Father, to deepen your understanding of Him, and to equip you with the truths of the Lord for your journey with Christ. My hope is that both your hands and your heart will hold firm to these eternal truths as you walk with Him.
With that in mind, here are three essential truths — or realities — that every true believer must embrace and live out to walk rightly with God.
He’s a pilgrim
“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” — 1 Peter 2:11
