You are right, poetry has a huge fan base. And it really does help to gain a good follow base.

My problem with poetry though, is it's like a switch i can not turn on. The words come to me on their own, at certain times or in certain moods. when i try to force them, i write words I don't feel connected to.

Thats why you notice i don't submit poems on the regular.

But i think it is because i have not focused on it long enough.
