Some things you said brought back some bitter and ugly memories. I get it. I have the experience with my mother two.

Luckily, she somehow changed from whom she used to be towards me. Unfortunately, though we have a more respectful relationship now, but I bore no motherly connection with her. I’ve tried to feel the mother-connection people talk a lot about, but I can’t.

I get you, Diane. And I’m sorry you had to go through all that. No child deserves that—especially from our own parents.

You have so much stories. Why don’t you write, Diane?
