So true. Most writing advices are horse shit.

They’re mostly to scam the readers. Everyone out there are looking to game others for their own benefit. I don’t often buy into courses.

There’s no secret to becoming a successful writer other than become a pretty good writer with great stories and ideas.

So, this is what I do. I read books on writing. I watch lectures on YouTube on various forms of writing.

Then I read great classical books from great authors like Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Dan Brown, George Orwell, etc.

I read and study these authors. How they start their stories. How they open a chapter. Their creative use of anecdote. Their formation and structure of sentences.

That’s how you learn to be a better writer and have really good stories to tell as well.
