People want their works to be read. And since curation no longer recommend your articles to enough readers on the platform like it was did, because Medium wants to create a more relational platform. So it’s a follower thing. Your followers would see your work.

But now your followers don’t follow you because they care about your writings. So they don’t read.

Medium has become a place of “scratch my back, I scratch your back.”
