I grew up in a time when relationships, love, and girls were the stuff of dreams. We looked forward to falling in love. To find that one sweet cute girl.
On repeat, we’d listen all day to romantic music. Michael Bolton! Bryan Adams! Luther Vandross! Westlife! Celine Dion! You name it.
We’d master song lyrics. All to express our love to that special person. It was the stuff of lovers. It doesn’t have to make sense. So long it feels right.
And when you meet that special someone — goodness me! What a feeling!
But everything’s changed today.
Relationships now feel like a 9 to 5. Another job that drains the life out of you. Everyone wants to be some chad. Some hot chick. Acting tough, independent, and not needing anyone.
To what end?
