Lately, though never a fan of fiction, I’ve been pulled lately to read and study fiction, because as I draw closer to the very art, I find that there’s nothing fictional about fiction.

Because, when I take to pen, I quickly realize that, except my words be true, my characters will have no life. And like you pointed out, it means, I’m hiding.

So if even fiction doth not come alive except through truth, then is fiction really fiction?
