It’s a big flaw of mine, that affects my writing a great deal.

Sometimes, when an idea enters my head, rather than flushing it out on a quick first draft, I’d say to myself, ‘this idea is good. I’d need to settle down and find a quiet moment to really pour out my heart.’

That’s how I end up with drafts I no longer remember their actual message.
