In this sort of delima, there’s no simple or easy answer.
Sometimes, loneliness is how the soul communicates longing—or a desire—for fulfillment, for connection, or for simply being seen.
It could be a myriad of other things or these things.
But one thing is certain, loneliness is the soul’s cry to be seen. And it doesn’t matter whether we’re surrounded by people or not. Until the soul feels seen, heard, understood and accepted, we’ll forever live with the feeling of loneliness deep within our hearts, whether we’re married or single.
Loneliness is not the absence of people in our lives, but the absence of hearts that yearns for us. That desire us in a way we wish.
