In my article, which was in response to this prompt, I tried to highlight this same point: if i'm willing to bestow a thing as unfair as marriage upon anyone, then i too must prepare my own table for pure and committed love. because indeed love is a sacrifice–a compromise.

There is so much wisdom here, which speaks as to why you've chosen to remain single.

And i relate with that a lot, understanding the true meaning of marriage, is why we must not rush in.
