I completely agree… I must say I have been a victim of this when i first got on medium. Imagine a new writer, focusing on the monetary side of the craft.

Although writing has always been my most sacred passion, but i missed the mark, by allowing myself get blinded by my wants.

After a brief writing existential crisis, i re-discovered my why, and since then, everything shun brighter and felt even better.
