Five Things That Took My Writing To The Next Level.
To pay attention pays.
Two years and over two hundred written articles have taught me that there isn't a secret to writing. No doubt, just like me, you consume articles about writing, because you want to find the secret to better writing.
From my experience, I discovered that contents about writing, are mostly repetitive.
That’s not to say they hold no value.
However, writing only improves by writing — and writing more. On the downside, when you stick too much to other people's opinions, you may end up losing your voice and style. Every writer writes uniquely. Just as every speaker speaks uniquely.
Having said that, there are ways my writing has improved that are fairly uncommon. These are little things we don't notice or that we often brush over. When you read through, you’ll see for yourself that in truth, little things carry weight.
1. Don’t rush it.
Do not allow the urge to publish quickly cause you to ejaculate poorly written content. It’ll hurt your reputation along the line.
When you write, put effort into every piece. If it’s worth writing, it’s worth perfecting. Let every sentence reflect attention to detail. Treat every piece as a child being…
