Before we come of age, to that point where we're able to think for ourselves and define the consequences of good and evil, i'm pretty sure the damage has been done at that point––at least for most individuals.

It's funny that at the later part of our lives, we spend a chunk of it trying to rewrite all or most of what's already been written.
